Building products and construction processes are an important part of the economy. ESU-services executed several LCA projects in this important sector. Some examples are provided on this site.
Inventory of rock wool production
Flumroc is a rock wool producing company in Switzerland. The company has updated their company-internal eco-balance tool to the latest available life cycle impact assessment methodologies in collaboration with ESU-services. At the same time, the inventory data of the rockwool production and of some upstream processes have been revised. The respective report was published by eco-bau.
