Save valuable time by using the SimaPro Report Maker Add-on. With one click in MS Word or Excel, you can automatically update all graphs and tables copied from SimaPro.

How does Report Maker work?

SimaPro Report Maker Add-on for MS word and excel

After installation of the add-on, you get a SimaPro-ribbon in your MS-office products. Now you can right-click on any graph or table in the impact assessments in SimaPro and select copy item-descriptor. Paste this link to your report or sheet in MS Word or MS Excel. This link contains all necessary information to import and/or update the created figures and tables in your report. In your MS office product, in the SimaPro-tab you have several options to work with these descriptors. For example, you can update the underlying data for all graphs and tables at once. You might then change the layout of the graphs and tables in your office product and update only the data (the layout will remain the same).

EPD’s and CO2 footprint

Report Maker offers the possibility to create own templates for environmental product declarations (EPD), Environmental Footprints or other recurring documents. Together with the COM-interface and other add-ons available for SimaPro Power, reports for many products can be created quickly and efficiently.

For which SimaPro versions is Report Maker available?

The add-on is included in the packages for all professional licences and for the educational PhD licence. It works with all newer versions of MS Office starting with the version from 2007.
